About Compassion in Crisis
Missions are near and dear to the heart of Compassion in Crisis. James 1:27 calls all believers to take care of the orphans and the widows. Showing care is the best way to inspire hope.

The Pizza Party Project is one way that we inspire hope through missions. Each year, Compassion in Crisis mentors 10-20 children in other countries, usually from poverty-stricken areas.
These children are held accountable for satisfactory academic performance and behavior throughout the school year. At the end of each school year, we travel to that country and reward the children with a pizza party as an incentive for their hard work.

"Religion that God our Father accepts as pure and faultless is this: to look after orphans and widows in their distress."
