Compassion in Crisis
Missions is near and dear to the heart of Compassion in Crisis. James 1:27 calls all believers to take care of the orphans, and the widows. Showing care is the best way to inspire hope.
The Pizza Party Project is one of the ways that we inspire hope through missions. Each year, Compassion in Crisis mentors 10-20 children in other countries. These children usually come from poverty stricken areas.
Throughout the school year these children are held accountable to satisfactory academic performance and behavior. At the end of each school year we travel to that country and reward the children with a pizza party as an incentive for their hard work.
We have seen consistent improvement and success in these children! This year, we will be traveling to Capetown, South Africa for the Pizza Party Project! We are excited and would love for you to partner with us in our efforts to show the heart of Jesus to these children.
James 1:27 --
"Religion that God our Father accepts as pure and faultless is this: to look after orphans and widows in their distress"
